I live alone, I hate grocery shopping and I donĂ¢t have time to
cook. I always order take out or I eat at fast food restaurants. I take
daily health supplements to make sure that I am getting all of the
necessary vitamins and minerals. I want to change my diet because I know
that fast food contributes to high blood cholesterol. I have a family
history of heart disease so I must regularly monitor my blood pressure
and my blood cholesterol levels.
Currently, the only two positive things that I am doing for my body is taking daily health supplements and drinking eight glasses of water a day. I am blessed to have a high metabolism that allows me to eat junk food without gaining weight. Even though I remain slim and healthy on the outside, on the inside my body is suffering as my arteries are clogging up with the cholesterol contained in junk food. This causes a restriction on the blood flow which can lead to numerous diseases and even cause a heart attack. Health supplements help lower bad cholesterol levels.
I am aware that I need to change my eating habits and I am determined to do so during this month. I still want to take the health supplements as extra help to keep me healthy. I will learn how to cook basic meals like chicken, fish, rice and pasta and I will stop ordering take out. It wont be an easy change however I know that I can accomplish anything when I give it my best.
